After a break for the holiday weekend, we're back with more listings on our Minnesota City Wide Garage Sale List. Next week has almost twice as many as this week so you might want to start doing some planning for then too.
As we head into summer break time we've been adding and updating a bunch more fun things to do with kids and as many that are free or at a discount as we find. If you have anything you think we should include, please send it over!

Washed Ashore at Como
Como Park Zoo and Conservatory has had some amazing outdoor summer art exhibits in recent summers and this year's is super cool!
The Washed Ashore exhibit is open now through Labor Day, featuring larger-than-life animal sculptures made entirely from recovered ocean and beach plastic.
The 10 gigantic sculptures are hidden all throughout the zoo, making it feel like a fun scavenger hunt as you search for them. , serving as a visual example of how plastic pollution has an impact on oceans, waterways, and wildlife.
Each piece is beautifully detailed and includes a sign listing the everyday items you can spot hidden insideโlike sand toys, toothbrushes, shoes, and lighters.

FREE YMCA Summer Memberships for High School Students
Teens can stay active and engaged this summer with a completely free YMCA membership! The YMCA of the North is bringing back its popular "Get Summer" program, offering free summer-long memberships to students entering grades 9 through 12.
Registration just started yesterday (Tuesday, May 26th), and you can sign up either online or in person at your local branch. High schoolers will get total access to 19 Twin Cities metro locations (plus Hudson, WI) from June 1st through August 31st.
Teens can take advantage of fitness centers, weight rooms, indoor and outdoor pools, open gym basketball, and even group exercise classes. There are a limited number of slots available per location, so sign them up before spots fill up!

Minnesota Childrenโs Museum โ FREE First Sunday Soon
The next Minnesota Childrenโs Museum Free First Sundays event is coming up June 7, but it's time to register NOW!
One day per month, families can explore the museum completely free of charge thanks to a partnership with Securian Financial. Families can explore three floors of interactive exhibits, letting kids learn and grow through play, developing lifelong skills such as creativity, critical thinking, confidence and collaboration.
All visitors must reserve a specific timed ticket online in advance to get free admission. Because capacity is limited and this is a massive favorite for local families, the slots fill up fast. As of just before I sent the newsletter there are still a good amount of tickets left, including the coveted morning time slots.
