🍁 Maple Syrup Events 🦖 Dinosaur World Live 🚸 Good Times Park ⭐ + New Freebies & Deals!

It's a bit of a groggy Monday morning for a lot of us trying to adjust to Daylight Saving Time! I'm just glad that I was able to get up to get this out to you before 10am.

If you missed Friday's newsletter you can still see it HERE, although some of the fun things to do and deals are already over.

On Friday I mentioned on Facebook that I would be working on the City Wide Garage Sales list over the weekend. Well I did and I am sooooo close to having the rough draft finished. My email inbox and Facebook messenger has lots of responses from cities/towns/organizers with 2026 dates for me to add and then I'll just have to rearrange everything into date/city order. All that said, we're looking at late tonight or else tomorrow for the list. I'll be sure to share a link in the Wednesday newsletter or you can watch Facebook or ThrityMinnesota.com for it.

We'll talk again Wednesday and in the meantime you can stay up-to-date on our Facebook Page and on the website. Thanks for reading. I really appreciate it!

Dinosaur World Live at Children’s Theatre Company

CTC has a brand new show that's perfect for dinosaur lovers!

Dinosaur World Live is your chance to step into a world with dinos – that are both life-size and realistic - controlled by puppeteers. Your guide, Miranda, shares insights about the amazing dinosaurs you meet.

You'll want to check out Hannah's review to get lots of details about what you'll experience. She adds "I honestly forgot at moments that they weren’t real. Watching the dinos move and learning more about them was extremely fascinating and I’m not even that into dinosaurs!"

Maple Syrup Tapping Events in Minnesota

As the winter starts to warm up a bit, it's time for maple syrup season!

You can get up close and see how maple syrup goes from tree to table and often get hands on and involved with the process at maple syrup events across Minnesota.

From tapping the tree, to boiling the sap and enjoying the finished product, each maple syruping event is a little different. We've compiled a big list of these events all around Minnesota. Many of the events are free while some do charge a registration fee.

If you know of any we happened to miss, please let me know and we'll get them added!

Good Times Park in Woodbury

For a super fun place your kids can play, run and explore indoors, head to Good Times Park in Woodbury! This is a new location, following the original in Eagan.

There’s tons to do for all age ranges– multiple indoor playgrounds featuring slides, climbing walls and more, a turf with lots of fun sports equipment, a ninja ropes course, an area to build with the infamous blue blocks, a dedicated space for kiddos under 2, a reading room and more

You can get a better look with Hannah's video here.

Let's start out again today with the food and beverage freebies and deals. To give a little boost for Daylight Savings Time grogginess get $1 off a large or XL at Caribou as long as you're a Caribou Perks Member.

It's Burger King Perks Week with a freebie each day when you spend $3 or more. They're mostly breakfast items like Croissan'wich, French Toast Sticks, Sausage Egg and Cheese Biscuit, etc.

Five Guys has a BOGO Free offer valid through 3/12.

We're getting close to the end of the Holiday International Women's Day offer where you can get freebies every day. My husband has appreciated the breakfast sandwiches. (I just get the ones that are in the refrigerator case so he can heat them later.)

At the grocery store you can try nutpods non-dairy creamer and Flourish Protein Pancake Mix for FREE with cash back offers.

My favorite new freebie is another custom card from Moonpig! They even send to your recipient totally free. I sent my mom the free one for Valentine's Day and it was a really nice card! I added a photo of the two of us when I was 2 years old and she loved it.

For shopping deals you can get Wow Jeans at Old Navy for $16 for adults and $10 for kids. There are Amazon deals for Gold Bond Lotion 70% off and the big Softsoap refill for under $5.

See all the other freebies, deals and offers to check out on the Deals Page!
