Happy Wednesday! Today is Tax Day, which isn't really a big deal for all the people who have already filed their taxes, but it does bring us some special deals/freebies every year and we've got them down in the Deals section.

Last week was the first day of the very first citywide sale of the year on the Minnesota City Wide Garage Sale List. This week we again only have ONE, in Norwood-Young America starting tomorrow. Galleria and Fleurs de Villes: FLORA Floral Show

The floral show at the Galleria in Edina is returning this week, and it is always such a beautiful way to spend an afternoon. This year’s theme features a series of incredible mannequins decked out in elaborate, fresh flower arrangements.

Grab a program when you arrive to get a map of each location around the mall. You can also use it to vote for your favorite design and be entered for a chance to win a two-night stay at The Westin Edina Galleria.

It's completely free to walk through and see the displays, wandering the halls at your own pace to see all the different botanical designs. The show only runs through Sunday, so you’ll want to head over there soon!

TC Kids Run Free Program

The TC Kids Run Free program is such a great way to let kids get involved in local races without having to pay those race registration fees. It allows children age 18 and under to register for various Twin Cities In Motion events throughout the year for free.

The program covers a bunch of different distances, so it works for a big variety of ages. It’s a nice way to let them experience the excitement of a race day and earn a finisher medal just like the grown-ups.

Since the spots for these free entries can fill up, it is a good idea to get registered early if you’re planning your race calendar. It is an amazing way to encourage a healthy habit and enjoy some local events together as a family.

Earth Day Events in Minnesota Starting Now

Earth Day isn't officially until NEXT weekend, but many of the celebrations and events are starting this week already!

There are dozens of events happening all over the state and it's a great opportunity to get out with your family and spend some time learning about the environment and doing what you can to help preserve our beautiful planet.

The events include park cleanups, hikes and walks, family-friendly education activities, and a lot more!
