Happy Monday! I don't know about you, but I felt like this weekend flew by! Spent a lot of it getting "chores" done and it's good to get things out of the way. Last night we went to the last regular season Timberwolves game and Kevin Garnett was welcomed back. If that's your kind of thing, I've got a super short video here.

Find Amazing Deals with the U of MN ReUse Program

If you like hunting for deals, check out the many things you can find from the U of MN ReUse program.

The University of Minnesota ReUse Warehouse is open to the public Thursday through Sunday selling surplus U of M property, materials, furniture and basically anything else the University no longer needs. The prices are usually super cheap since their mission is to get these items used and divert them from the waste stream.

They are constantly adding new items with everything from cleaning supplies, to tables and chairs to clothing, office equipment and a lot more.

Hyland Play Area AKA Chutes & Ladders Park

The Hyland Play Area in Bloomington is now open for the season! This is the spot many call the "Chutes and Ladders" park because of those massive slides and all the different climbing levels.

It's a great place to let the kids burn off some serious energy and have a LOT of fun. And if you have kids under 5 they have a separate area for the littles, so everyone has a spot to play without getting run over.

Bring a lunch or some snacks and making a morning or afternoon of it and enjoy our rapidly warming weather. Free parking makes it even better.

In last night's last regular season Timberwolves game, a Pelicans player missed 2 free throws in the 4th, so now everyone gets a FREE original chicken sandwich at Twin Cities and St. Cloud Chick-fil-a locations today 4/13.

Tuesday April 14th is Free Cone Day at Ben & Jerry's from noon to 8pm. In Minnesota they have locations in Minneapolis and Wayzata.

Registration is now open for the Kids Bowl Free program where registered kids receive two free games of bowling each day at participating centers, all summer long - actually it starts May 1!

We made it to Wednesday! I hope your week has gotten off to a good start. Mine has been a bit crazy and it's all related to vehicles. Our SUV has been in the shop with broken A/C (and now found part is backordered for a few weeks), the spring on our garage door broke so couldn't open that AND the side window of our pickup was smashed in! I'm hoping the rest of the week is much more uneventful. This weekend is the BIGGEST weekend of the season with over 40 entries on our Minnesota City Wide...

Here we are back at Monday again. I hope you had a good weekend. TGIF! The weekend is here and it looks like a nice one. I'm glad it looks to be warming up a little bit as we're going to head to opening weekend of Valleyfair for my nephew's birthday. They have new owners and I'm interested to see the changes. The big one will be the remodeling of the waterpark, opening Memorial Day weekend.
