🍩 FREE Donut 🌱 Garden Tool Swaps πŸ–ΌοΈ St. Paul Art Crawl ⚾ Free Youth Baseball/Softball Clinics ⭐ Freebies & Deals!

Happy Monday! I hope you had a great Easter and/or weekend. Our Easter was pretty non-traditional as we were playing it by ear up until the last minute do to family illness. We ended up with a delicious pizza meal for lunch and then my husband and I went to the Timberwolves game. It was actually a good day even without eggs/candy and a big loss by the Wolves 😊.

If you missed Friday's newsletter you can still see it HERE with info on free seed libraries, my news segment on KSTP and most of the Friday deals/freebies are still available today.

This week we're working on gathering up all the spring festivals in cities and towns all over the state. If your city has one you think should be on the list, send it on over!

We'll talk Wednesday and in the meantime you can stay up-to-date on our Facebook Page and on the website. Thanks for reading. I really appreciate it!

Twins Community Fund Free Youth Baseball and Softball Clinics

Thanks to the Twins Community Fund, kids ages 6-12 can attend free youth baseball and softball clinics at over 30 cities throughout the state and there are multiple sessions at some locations.

The clinics include two hours of fundamental instruction in a fun and positive atmosphere. They're open to kids of all abilities who want to play baseball and softball, including those who do not have any playing experience.

You'll need to check the list to find the location nearest you and pre-register your child.

Garden Tool Swaps

Have you ever been to a garden tool swap? At these events organized by city/town or by neighborhood, you can bring your own unused items to offer and then choose from what others have donated.

These swaps can have lots of other items beyond shovels and rakes. Some will also have yard decorations and art, birdfeeders, planters, plant hooks and more.

We've been rounding up a list of Twin Cities area swaps from Lakeville to Forest Lake, but would love to add more if you know some to add.

Saint Paul Art Crawl

The Saint Paul Art Crawl is back this spring, spanning three full weekends in April. It is such a fun way to explore different neighborhoods like Lowertown, Cathedral Hill, and Midway while checking out local studios.

There are over 300 artists participating across 30 different locations, so there is plenty to see. Beyond the galleries, you can also catch live music, dance performances, and grab food from local vendors along the route.

One of the coolest additions this year is a community coloring book featuring work from over 100 local artists and students. It’s a great event to bring the family along to, and you might even find a unique piece of art to take home.

Now we're on to a new week! If you missed Friday's newsletter you can still see it HERE. While some events/deals are past, you can still read about St. Cloud Restaurant Week happening this week and a few other things. We're still getting new...
