โญ 2026 MN Garage Sale List is Here! ๐Ÿ›๏ธ Free MNHS Admission ๐ŸŽจ Free Art Making + MORE!

Welcome to the Wednesday Newsletter. I've been trying to get back to the earlier in the morning newsletter schedule but today I was delayed finishing up our featured post.

The featured post? The first one below - our Annual Minnesota Citywide Garage Sale List!

If you missed Monday's newsletter you can still see it here for our big list of Maple Syrup Events, Dinosaur World Live at CTC, Good Times Park and more.

You may remember that I was out of town a couple weeks ago at the Minnesota Twins Spring Training in Fort Myers Florida. You can see a little video from it HERE on Instagram or HERE on Facebook.

I'll talk to you again for the Friday newsletter. In the meantime you can keep up with us on Facebook or the website! Thank you for reading. I DO appreciate it!

2026 Minnesota City Wide Garage Sale List

It's finally here! Always our most anticipated post of the year, our 16th year of the city wide garage sale list for 2026 is ready.

This list includes all of the city wide and large neighborhood sales we have been able to track down throughout the entire state. Yes, putting this list together and sending dozens and dozens of emails and Facebook messages to confirm the info for the new year is a TON of work, but I'm happy to see how much people enjoy it. I also REALLY appreciate all the cities and organizations who send me their information for sales before I even ask for it and all the readers who send me the info for sales in their area that aren't yet on the list.

Right now the list is at about 115 sales, but that will continue to grow as more are confirmed throughout the spring and summer.

NOTE: Right now the list is missing the last week or so of May. I was working on this way too late one night this weekend and ended up accidently deleting the whole list from June on. I was able to recreate it, but didn't realize that end of May was gone too! I'll get it fixed soon. (And please let me know if you notice other mistakes - still a work in progress!)

Free Thursday Nights at the Minnesota History Center

The Minnesota History Center in St. Paul offers free admission every Thursday night from 4 to 8 pm!

This is a great time to explore all the interesting, interactive and fun exhibits that detail the history of our state and its people.

There's a LOT to check out including the family-friendly "Then Now Wow" exhibit and the "Weather Permitting" area where you can experience a simulated 1965 tornado. Kids can also burn off energy at "Grainland," an interactive play structure modeled after a grain elevator.

Red Wing Arts FREE Community Artmaking Saturdays

Free artmaking is starting at Red Wing Arts' Clay and Creative Center one Saturday per month, beginning this weekend!

These events are open to all ages with no registration required. You're encouraged to try whatever art form you would like and they'll have lots of different mediums available to test. You'll have the chance to explore different media and techniques, and create something special in a fun, supportive environment!

This week's theme is a wooden caddy, and they invite you to gather to assemble your caddy and finish it with your own decoration using acrylic paint. Perfect for carrying tools, art supplies, legos, or other special objects.
