βš™οΈ Works Museum 🎨 Free Admission Museum of American Art ⭐ Newest Freebies & Deals!

Welcome to the Monday newsletter. This weekend was a reminder that no matter how many nice, warm jacketless days we have at the beginning of the month, Minnesota winter doesn't end in March!

If you missed Friday's newsletter you can still see it HERE, although some of the fun things to do and deals are already over.

As a reminder, the Minnesota City Wide Garage Sale list was just published this past week and I've made updates to it every day since then.

It's getting late so I'm going to run, but we'll talk again Wednesday and in the meantime you can stay up-to-date on our Facebook Page and on the website. Thanks for reading. I really appreciate it!

Visit the Minnesota Museum of American Art for FREE

Minnesota has some great art museums. One you may not have visited is the Minnesota Museum of American Art and it's worth the trip!

Located in downtown St. Paul, it's in the Pioneer Endicott Building. This architectural gem has an amazing glass ceiling that's a work of art itself. This ceiling was actually covered up until the museum moved in two years ago and fully restored it.

The museum has both permanent collections and rotating exhibits. The museum is open Thursday through Sunday.

Hands On Fun at The Works Museum in Bloomington

Museums are way more fun if you can jump into the action and DO rather than just LOOK. That's 100% the case at The Works Museum in Bloomington!

The large open space at the museum is divided into multiple fun play areas where kids can play, learn and discover with hands-on activities, building projects and more.

The Works Museum is one big room broken into different play exhibits. The different areas included K’nex car creation tables, magnatile light tables, mouse robots, lego design tables and so much more. Everything is hands-on at The Works Museum except for one giant K’nex ball run that took over 6 months and 72,000 pieces to build!

There's a new offer to request a free sample of Love, Nala cat food. I'm not 100% certain on this one though because they say "We're working on a free samples program!" So does that mean that they don't have a program YET and just want to collect our address, email and phone number for texts? I don't know. You can decide for yourself.

Registration is now open for the Kids Bowl Free program where registered kids receive two free games of bowling each day at participating centers, all summer long - actually it starts May 1! As for adults, there is a Family Pass you can purchase that starts at $34.95 that allows up to 2-4 adult family members to bowl with your kids all summer long, too (up to 2 games per day, depending on the pass).
