🎣 Grumpy Old Men Festival 🐾💙 Bluey Backyard 🌲 Free 4th Grade Parks Pass ⭐ + More!

Welcome to the Wednesday Newsletter. We're hitting the half way point in the week and I hope your first half has been good so far.

If you missed Monday's newsletter you can still see it here for info about Omnifest at the Science Museum, Thomas & Friends at Minnesota Children's Museum, Mall of America Official Tours, etc.

I'm out most of this week so a big thanks to Hannah holding down the fort and Laura getting some of our favorite spring lists ready! I'm just popping in here to finish up the getting the newsletter out. If you do send me an email, a response will likely be a bit delayed.

I'll talk to you again for the Friday newsletter. In the meantime you can keep up with us on Facebook or the website! Thank you for reading. You're the best!

Grumpy Old Men Festival

Head to Wabasha this Friday and Saturday for the 33rd Annual Grumpy Old Men Festival, celebrating the classic movie both set in and filmed in Minnesota!

If you're brave you can sign up for the Grumpy Plunge to dive through an ice hole into the Mississippi, but there are lots of more mellow events like showings of the movie (of course), ice fishing tournament, hot dish luncheon, live music, curling, bingo, cribbage tournament and a lot more.

Free 4th Grade National Parks Pass

Do you have a 4th grader? Did you know you can sign them up for a free National Park Service Annual Pass that the whole family can use?

The program Every Kid Outdoors gives a FREE National Park Service Pass to all kids in 4th grade throughout the USA. You can use the pass with your whole family!

It includes the 4 parks we have here in Minnesota: Grand Portage National Monument, Mississippi National Rive and Recreation Area, Pipestone National Monument and Voyageurs National Park. And if you're planning some family vacations, it can be used in the rest of the U.S. too.

Bluey Backyard Experience from Bluey x CAMP

There’s a brand-new Bluey Backyard Experience for Bluey fans at Southdale Center.

Bluey x CAMP: Bluey’s Backyard is an interactive experience where you get to literally step into a life-sized Bluey’s backyard– filled with games, crafts and a visit from Bluey herself!

Hannah and her daughter were gifted tickets to the Backyard Experience along with the Slime Bar and the Blacklight Splatter Room. They had an awesome time, but note it is a pricier experience with tickets for the Bluey’s Backyard starting at $39/person! Check out her full review for more details.

Also today 2/25 you can try to snag a FREE Scream 7 movie t-shirt. They'll be giving away 100 per hour for 7 hours.

Speaking of movies, a movie night out can be EXPENSIVE when you add in concessions, but the new AMC Movie Deal with 2 AMC Movie Tickets, 2 Drinks and 1 Popcorn for $28 makes it better.

Chipotle is offering FREE Chips & Queso with the purchase of any entree when you order in the app and use code CHIPS26. Ends 2/25. If you like the Chipotle style restaurant but want a BETTER version, I gotta give a shout out to Brito's Burritos with locations in Minneapolis, Minnetonka, St. Louis Park, Chanhassen, Circle Pines, Monticello, and St. Cloud. They are SO GOOD and have great prices. (They also sometimes have deals on their website.)

The most delicious sale is Frango chocolates 75% off! And if you're a HOKA fan they've got a new sale too.

The Minneapolis Home + Garden Show starts TODAY and there's still time to save 50% off adult tickets. I like getting glimpse of spring indoors!
